The Venturer Simulator is the first choice simulator of S & D Leisure. Venturer can be permanently or semi-permanently sited or fully mobile on a specially designed trailer unit.

Mobile Venturers offer a flexible and profitable attraction that has high point-of-sale appeal at exhibitions, shows, sports events, corporate promotions, retail parks - in fact wherever they appear.

Fully integrated onto a 12 meter trailer, the simulator comes complete with its own on-board power generator, steps, pay/control booth and hydraulically operated stabilisers - all you need is 15 x 5 meters of firm, flat ground and you're in business.

It's backed by an extensive software library of over 40 titles all produced to full broadcast video standards and displayed using the latest CRV laser disc technology.

All of this is supported by the proven experience of the Venturer as a highly profitable entertainment attraction. Theme and leisure parks, museums, destination centres and a diverse range of other entertainment attractions have all found that the Venturer delivers a high return on investment that's hard to beat.

The capsule accomodates up to 14 people at a time. With a typical ride of about five minutes, each Venturer can take around 170 customers per hour. The actual experience can be simply changed by loading a different programme. There are more than two dozen experiences available and new ones are being introduced regularly.

The capsule motion is carefully controlled so that the intensity of movement can be scaled to suit the desires and stamina of the customers. The computer monitors all safety systems and, if necessary, the ride can be stopped instantly and returned to a level position, which happens automatically in the event of a power failure.

Venturer has been fully tested and meets the stringent requirements of the U.K. Health and Safety Executive and the German TUV.
